Press Release:  PIC Aircraft Rentals launched in May, 2019. The company rents airplanes to experienced pilots rents year-round, weather permitting, in one of the most accessible and exciting small plane regions in the world, the BC coast in Canada.

PIC is Western Canada’s newest aircraft rental service. We rent wheeled and float-equipped aircraft to experienced pilots in the Pacific Northwest. Whether it’s for time-building, keeping current, or exploring the spectacular Lower Mainland by floatplane, we have a plan and a plane. Pilots can choose from a Cessna 180 on floats, or a Duchess Twin or Cessna 172 on wheels.

If you love to fly, but don’t want to own your own plane, PIC Rentals is a great option for heading out on the weekend, or for a quick flight after work. The PIC fleet is professionally maintained to  Transport Canada standards. Unlike with aircraft ownership, we handle the maintenance so you can focus on flying.

At PIC straightforward rates are set to industry standards – you pick up your plane fueled – .there is NO fuel surcharge, and we include one hour of free standby-not-flown time in all rentals! We offer hourly and daily rates and pilots will save with our block time rates on all of our aircraft.

We operate from our modern hangar at Pitt Meadows Regional Airport (YPK), a dynamic aviation hub on the north shore of the Fraser River under the Golden Ears mountains. We are centrally located an hour’s drive from Vancouver, 4 hours’ drive from Kelowna, and a short flight to the alpine lakes, glaciers and stunning views of the BC’s south coast.  YPK has ample secure parking and easy access from Highway #1.

PIC rents year-round, weather permitting, in one of the most accessible and exciting small plane regions in the world: lakes, oceans and rivers, coastal harbours, canyons, and alpine views.

Pilots will enjoy the freedom of being off the grid and in light air traffic instantly – over stunning river, farmland, city or mountain views. Talk to our pilots, come in for a check ride, and get out flying!
